It's been a while

It's been a while since I have posted anything. I think there are a few reasons why. The first is the easiest...I wonder sometimes, is it worth it? Is anyone reading it and is it the best use of my time. As I have been working on the sermon for this week I have been personally challenged by a lot of things. The biggest though is something that continues to ring true...it's not about me. It's not about the time that I put into it. It is not about the number of people who do or do not read it. It is about Jesus. It's all about Jesus. It's about Jesus and what He did for me on the cross. Everything that I have is because of Him. EVERYTHING. I've got to stop thinking that there are parts that are necessary for me to be involved. God can and does use me, but it is all about Him. I can't lose sight of that or else all is lost. Keeping Jesus first is what the world needs. Keeping Jesus as the primary reason for all I do allows me to be a child filled with grace, mercy, honor, forgiveness, joy, peace, self-control, really all things. All things are made new and right through Jesus. It's all about Him! Praise God!
